Scholarship Opportunities

Carolina Prep is pleased to announce a fully funded scholarship program to attract new students in rising 1st through 5th grades. An ideal candidate is an accomplished student who is Polite, Respectful, Intelligent, Disciplined, and Empowered. He/She values integrity, citizenship, teamwork and an attitude of inclusion. Our quality staff will work closely with the scholarship candidate to ensure a smooth transition into the Carolina Prep family.

ELIGIBILITY

(For all categories in all grades)

SEEKING ADMISSION

Applicants must be seeking admission to Carolina Prep and otherwise be eligible to attend Carolina Prep:

  • School tour
  • Family interview
  • Complete STAR Authorization Form and STAR screening
  • Completed school application and paid screening fee
  • Completed TADS application
  • Transcripts/recommendations/disciplinary record if transfer student from another primary school

COMPLETED APPLICATION

Applicants must complete the scholarship application and provided all required documentation/satisfied all requirements to be considered for scholarship

FINANCIAL NEED: Grades 1-5

  • Financial Need, as determined by TADS
  • Other:
    • Written Recommendation(s)
    • Excellent behavior and discipline record

DIVERSITY: Grades 1-5

  • Ability to enrich the school and the classroom experience of other students through one or more of the following:
    • Cultural, ethnic, racial and/or religious diversity
    • Other enriching characteristics or experiences, such as:
      • Having lived or travelled extensively in other country(ies)
      • Being bi-lingual or multi-lingual
    • Other:
      • Written recommendation(s)
      • Excellent behavior and discipline record

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE: Grades 3-5

  • Excellent Prior Academic performance
  • Outstanding performance on prior ITBS, MAP, or other standardized testing
  • Outstanding performance on additional academic testing
  • Other:
    • Written recommendation(s)
    • Excellent behavior and discipline record

All Scholarships are for 100% primary school tuition

But will not include after school, holiday camp, summer camp, parents’ night out, buyout of volunteer hours, or other incidental charges.  Meals and snacks served by the School before and during the regular school day and other items for which there is no additional charge for non-scholarship students (such as certain field trips) are considered part of “tuition” for purposes of the Scholarship Program.

All Scholarships are for one school year, subject to renewal upon satisfaction of renewal criteria, including maintenance of a certain level of academic achievement (as applicable), satisfactory attendance, satisfactory disciplinary record, school accounts in good standing, and satisfaction of all other school requirements for continued admission at Carolina Prep.
